Social and Rehabilitation Services, SRS, support persons with mental illness in their recovery and in living safe, healthy, successful, self-determined lives in their home and community. Services are provided at a community-based level and include medication management, out-patient therapy, case management, mental health rehabilitation, personal support, and crisis services.
State and county funding for these services is available for persons without the ability to pay, especially persons with a severe and persistent mental illness and children with a serious emotional disturbance.
Twenty-seven community mental health centers provide mental health services to Kansans from all counties of the state. Find a Community Mental Health Center or a Customer Run Organization in your area.
